Many groups are being discriminated in the USA even though they are entitled to equal rights. We believe that the government needs to work on eliminating discrimination.
Same Sex Marriage: We believe that legal gay marriage needs to be a national law. By banning same sex marriage, the government and the states are denying these couples of their rights. First, we want to legalize same sex marriage because by banning same sex marriage we are going against the Declaration of Independence and every American value. Second, by banning same sex marriage the government if is violating the Constitution.
Abortion: We are pro-choice. We believe that every women should have the right to pick what she wants to do. Especially in the case of rape. Would a women really want to keep the baby of her attacker? This is one of the many reasons that we believe women should have the choice to pick whether or not she wants the baby. Also if the government, which is mostly white old men, have never experienced an abortion, they should not be able to make the decision for women who are experiencing or thinking about having an abortion.
Immigration: We believe that all immigrants should all be given a fair change, but we need to know the balance between to much immigration and the right amount. We need to discourage illegal immigration by stepping up enforcement on the borders. We believe that legal immigration is healthy for the country and brings in diversity. But because of the rising world population, we believe that America should only allow very few immigrants to the USA.
